Slurry pump is a kind of centrifugal pump to transport slurry materials under the centrifugal force. It transfer the electricity energy into kinetic and position energy. The TZJE is widely applied in mine, electricity, metallurgy, coal and environmental protection for abrasive solid containing slurry transportation. It can also be used to transport some corrosive slurry with crystals.

Under the centrifugal force, liquid is thrown from the impeller center to the outer edge. After getting the energy, the liquid leaves the impeller outer edge to enter the volute pump shell,  in which the liquid is accelerated due to the gradual expansion of the flow path, and then part of kinetic energy is converted into static pressure energy. The liquid then flows to the discharging pipeline with a high pressure. It forms a certain vacuum when liquid flows to the outer edge of the impeller from the center, then liquid is pressed into the impellers continuously by the pressure differential between the storage tank and the pump inlet.
